Jacques Bermon Webster II, born on April 30 1991, is more commonly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) who is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. His stage name is the combined name of a favorite uncle, with the initials and first name (of Kid Cudi), of his main inspiration Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major-label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, and also an agreement to publish with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint-recording agreement with Epic and T.I. The record was released under the Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first long-form project, Owl Pharaoh, was self released in 2013. The mixtape was followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first album of studio work. It included the smash track "Antidote". The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was the first Billboard 200 top 100 album. Scott released Birds in the Trap Sing McCKnight (2016) with Quavo under the name of Huncho Jack. In the year 2018, Astroworld was released to critical acclaim. It was the first album to feature his Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in late 2019. This album topped the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott became the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs reach the top spot within a mere decade , in the year 2020.
